Implementation

The Dance Residency Program can be implemented as physical education classes, arts integration programs, and community organization activities. It can be done through in-school or after-school programs and summer session activities.

Dynamic Teaching Experience

This program generally combines the foundations of classical ballet and fun elements of contemporary and latin dance styles to produce a dynamic teaching experience that engages the participation of every student regardless of physical level and dance experience. We believe Dance is for everyone, and it really is.

Student Performance

Residency Programs may also include a STUDENT PERFORMANCE at the end of the residency. It could be implemented in Career Day; Parent’s Night for Students, Faculty, and Parents; Pre- and Post-implementation planning with teachers and administrators; and Pre- and Post-activity surveys.

Inclusion

Dance classes are designed to accommodate students of all grade levels, sharing the same space and time. We believe dance is for everyone, embracing diversity in color, gender, and physical ability. With extensive experience teaching both small groups and large ensembles of over 100 students, we ensure that quality remains uncompromised. Our approach focuses on simplicity, creative physical expression, and meaningful engagement with our professional dancers making each class an inspiring and inclusive experience for all.

Dance education should not invite mentally stressful experiences such as competitions, auditions, extensive repetitions, forced memorizations, or mechanical thinking.

It should invite creativity, critical thinking, risks, freedom of movement, curiosity, experimentation, courage, attention, and physicality for a better flow of movement.

Our programs can complement special occasions such as:

Black History Month, Spanish Heritage Month, Talent Shows, Conferences, Career Day; Parent’s Night for Students, Faculty, and Parents; Pre- and Post-implementation planning with teachers and administrators; Pre- and Post-activity surveys.
